Captain William W. McDannel of the 5th Air Force B-26 light bomber pilot of the 452nd Bomb Wing, has been named commander of one of the squadron's of the wing. He previously served as operations officer, doubling as combat pilot of the light bombers in strikes against the Communists in North Korea. May, 1951
