Korean War Series280
"10,000 sorties is a lot of sorties in any man's war---" according to Major General Frank F. Everest, Commanding the Fifth Air Force, during a short speech in the flight line celebration of the historic 452nd Light Bomb Wing's 10,000th sortie. The maintenance crew on the plane that flew the historic mission for the Wing with the greatest number of missions and the least number of aborts stands before the U.S. Air Force B-26, the "Brown-Nose," with their squadron commander.
