These three B-29 Superforts of the Far East Air Forces 19th Bombardment Group present a stair-step appearance as they head towards a Communist target in Korea from their Okinawa base. The 19th hard-hitting Superforts were the first medium bombers to strike a blow against North Koreans, and they have been at it steadily ever since. February, 1951
