A tight formation of B-26 "Marauder" light bombers of the 5th Air Force's 452nd Bomb Wing (light) do some cloud hopping as they head for their home base in Japan. They have just completed a devastating, low-level sweep on enemy Communist targets with bombs, rockets, napalm and .50 caliber fire, and now seek a welcome refuge from the rigors of dodging mountains and other ground objects. At this stage of the mission, crew members relax and secretly give thanks that this one is nearly over. May 1951
