While the other three engines idle, the newly attached power plant is revved up for testing by the Far East Air Forces B-29 bomber flight engineer prior to take-off on a combat mission over Korea, the first for the engine, but one of the many for this U.S. Air Force "Superfort" bomber and it's crew. "Superforts," such as this one make slashing attacks against the Communists in Korea daily from this base in Japan. November 1951
