Major William "Bill" Shaw Presidential Helicopter Pilot

William Shaw flew the Army One helicopter for four different presidents: Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon after the program began in 1958. Shaw flew helicopters in Vietnam as well during two tours from 1962 to 1963 and 1967 to 1968. He left the Army as a major.
