Henry Julian Abraham


Henry J. Abraham was born in Offenbach, Germany on August 25, 1921. After his escape from germany to flee the Nazi regime, he joined as an enlisted man and as a officer in the U.S. Army Intelligence Corp. He is fluent in German, French and English. His unit is known to have gathered evidence that helped in the Nuremberg War Crime Trials. While in service he received two Battlestar Medals and a commendation Medal for acts of heroism in combat. After returning from war he then proceeded to go to school for many years and became a professor at University of Virginia.
