Patrick Daniel Tillman

Pat Tillman symbolized what a American should be, brave, patriotic. He was willing to leave his job as an NFL player to go serve his country and make everyone home proud. He said that when the 9/11 attacks happened he didn’t know what to do.


Born Patrick Daniel Tillman, Pat Tillman was born on November 6, 1976 and raised in California. Born in Fremont later during his High School years attended Leland High school in San Jose, California. His exceptional on the football field would earn him a scholarship to Arizona State University from there he would take his football skills and be drafted by the hometown team Arizona Cardinals. After the wake of the 9/11 attacks, Pat Tillman enlisted into the Army in 2002. He was assigned to the second battalion of the 75th ranger regiment. He did his tour in 2003 but, later in  2004 he was killed of friendly fire in Afghanistan. He was awarded the purple hearts and silver star medals.
